  1. No one in the MidAtl is even gusting over 20kt right now. lol
  2. Kinda need the heater for this time of the year. If we get a warm weekend in late Sep or early Oct my parents will put their heater on and crank that water back up to 80-85F for one last hurrah.
  3. HRRRGW again south of the Pike...a little over 1" up here. Still thinking/hoping the convection steals the show and robs some of the moisture for the synoptic lift up here.
  4. 9" in 6hrs in SW CT and still raining at the end of the run.
  5. NAM with 6-8” north and west of HFD. Hopefully all of that convection along the wf robs my area of moisture.
  6. Great-great-great-great grandpa Wood told everyone in town that there was no way the storm could cut with that cold high pressure in place. End result in Goffstown, NH...
  7. BOS has some obs going back to 1821. The old forms are on here, but half of the comments I can't even read. It'd be cool to compare your notes with the BOS numbers. https://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/IPS/coop/coop.html?_page=2&state=MA&foreign=false&stationID=190770&_target3=Next+>
  8. Last winter was great. 34"...melt it in a week. Warm Jan. Snow fail the rest of winter. Would take another 5 years of Cam if I could repeat that winter. A+++
  9. Whatever the opposite of cloud seeding is I'd like to do it over my house.
  10. Kinda saw this coming. Bill loves dramatic cuts before the regular season.
  11. My wife pulled back into the driveway last week after going out to get coffee and a large bear jumped off our rock wall and into the driveway in front of her. Scared her shitless. She must’ve startled it when she pulled in as it was chowing down on the bird seed in the front. We have 4 large windows and get a few bird hits every year…average 1-2 deaths.
  12. idk...this seems like a fairly abrupt "end" to me. We'll still pull 80s or even 90F like we do every September. But it has felt like weeks of 15-20C 850s that are getting replaced with predominantly 7-13C stretches. Brief 1-2 day mild ups and then right back into seasonably cool temps. Once we get to mid September it's a much sharper drop downhill so that's when I'll start cheering on above normal temps again and start bitching about missing summer.
  13. 65/62 OVC...bit of a breeze. Nice out. Low was 62F.
