  1. BKN skies up here. A little breezy and 71/66. Really comfortable out.
  2. 55mph at BID, but still haven’t verified tropical storm conditions yet.
  3. Off hour gfs op run too. Sad.
  4. Think about how convective our snow ones are…now do it with summer dews and instability with deep tropical moisture feeding in.
  5. Wow at that rain in NJ/PHL.
  6. That's up to 56kt sustained which is really tough to do.
  7. ASH could get hit by a tornado and still gust under 30mph. Is there a such thing as an EF -2?
  8. They need more controlled burns out there. Wipe out the dead material and let new growth start.
  9. Happy meteorological fall on the GFS. 0C 850s into northern Maine.
  10. Picking up people in Afghanistan?
  11. Devens disc golf with Tippy?
  12. I mean it's been modeled for days...made a few posts on it. It's not really a classic PRE...but we have the trough/vortmax acting a bit on Henri and "pulling" back those isobars. With the tropical moisture plume working in and that inverted convergence zone to lift it there will be some copious QPF.
  13. That was the first thing I noticed…much larger wind field.
  14. I would say we’ll go into their subforum this winter and laugh at their weenie posts chasing a few inches of snow, but we do that here too. lol
  15. Thanks for this quality post
  16. I’d rather see it transitioning faster to get the more typical wind field expansion.
  17. At least everyone living at buoy 41001 got some epic dews.
  18. Feels like my time in APF right now with the deep tropical blues, tall towers, and occasional downpours.
  19. Aren’t they only under a TS warning?
