  1. It could be the first octuple phaser
  2. Think I’m at 28.0” to date.
  3. But even that doesn’t have a raging pac jet slamming against the west coast head on.
  4. Why are those homes and mailboxes caked in snow, but the lawn is greener than Taunton?
  5. I'm glad I have 10"+ of pack because this cold would be doing a number on the root systems of my young fruit trees without it. 32F at 4" deep and 33F at 8" deep. So yeah, it looks like winter, but it's functional too.
  6. I have a pellet stove. I haven’t fired it up in a few years though and I had to throw my ash vac out last spring after it rusted out in my basement.
  7. lol…anytime 2 shortwaves don’t phase in our favor the new reason is a progressive pattern. I mean we’ve seen bigger Pac ridges or a more blocky atlantic, but what we have is anything but progressive.
  8. My driveway better melt out before I need another refill.
  9. 120 mile vis on mt wash this morning. They can see Bryce’s sled sitting in the yard on the frozen brown ground.
  10. DD can’t seem to overtake TH in MI no matter how hard they try. Yet whenever we go out there, there we are trying to find the wife a DD. lol
  11. I like the newer DD dark roasts, but the regular is coming out of me before I get home.
  12. MWN basically averaged a -30°F dew overnight while warming up to above 0° and they were only like 5kt this morning. Those really dry mountainsides radiated well and all of that snowsurface cold just kept draining into the valleys.
  13. I’d rather be out in -25° and calm than -5° with 30mph winds. But yeah, this has still been impressive for rad cold. Anytime you get widespread -30s in NNE it’s impressive.
  14. MWN was +3° while Alex was -30°.
  15. Clayton Lake -36° Island Pond -35° Pittsburg -32°
  16. CAR isn’t normally an efficient radiator.
