  1. "You are watering window." Damn webbed fingers getting in the way and are no advantage in this dry pattern.
  2. The GFS lost the Tuesday torch. It's been really overaggressive with some of these backdoors in the extended. It used to be that if a global picked up on a hint of one you could almost guarantee it'd come to fruition. Now the GFS tries to accelerate any westward trending seagull fart back to ALB.
  3. I could name a bunch of countries I'd feel less safe being in, but yeah, we can do a lot better. Although what's happening in Ukraine does give me a little pause.
  4. People love killing other people. We've done it since the beginning of mankind. It's one of the few things we do well.
  5. Mine haven't reached that caliper yet although I do have a wild one in the back woods that's a good 2-3" diameter now and beginning to fissure on the bark...so we'll see how it does. Most of mine are from here: https://www.gonativetrees.com/american-chestnut/
  6. Hasn’t made it here yet. My american chestnut trees are thriving this year too.
  7. For sure. Definitely not a summer weekend. GFS trended a bit warmer, but Euro trended cooler and added the clouds and precip. Euro def caving more. GFS is still miserable on Monday too.
  8. Looks like they met somewhere in the middle. Sat/Sun 70+ with showers now on the gfs instead of 40s/50s.
  9. Euro with the Memorial Day torch. Well into the 90s. The GFS is upper 40s. lol
  10. Euro op tells the GFS to screw off this weekend. 70s & 80s
  11. A couple of rumbles, but very meh. Only 0.11" so far.
  12. 91.5F I haven't had a temp warmer than that here since 7/1/2018.
  13. So far here this spring... 70s 4 80s 4 90s 1 Went pretty much from cold season straight to summer.
  14. We're downsloping now. 90.4/66 Warmest since last June
  15. I think those who fogged up this morning are the ones still struggling with the maritime taint. We’ll fully mix it out as the SW gradient increases ahead of the cold fropa. Pushing 80° with sun so I’m not complaining.
  16. Only 76° here so far with light winds. Kinda meh, but we need the downslope to get cranking to pull off 90+ in the backyard.
  17. Down to 60° here this morning. Had to turn the window fan down in the middle of the night. The hot stretch here is going to end up being just an afternoon.
  18. I've been wanting the white clover to flower and drop seed so I figured it was worth giving an intermediate cut before that happens. I cut it on the highest setting so at least it's thick and lush...full of grass, clover, and wild strawberry (the real wild strawberry that produces small white flowers and tiny fruit...not that look-alike weed with the yellow flowers).
  19. Looks like still some weak E flow for much of ME/NH outside of the SW NH zones until late morning tomorrow.
  20. You can see how the Euro (and other models) lost the high end heat for much of the area beginning 00z last night. Too much Atlantic taint.
