  1. The euro was KU’ing here though while the GFS didn’t. I’ve just been disappointed with the euro’s inconsistency. It’s difficult to forecast with when it’s jumping around in close range. Looks like 27/18 and 28/00 were the really amped runs. Anyway…back to the storm at hand.
  2. I just looked and maybe it wasn’t quite as bad as I remember it, but it did flinch west for a couple of runs close in which made some forecasters go big in the western zones since it matched the NAM.
  3. Let’s really amp this up so I can get a few hours of these dews.
  4. The chickens are getting pissed off. They haven’t been out of their run for a month because I haven’t been able to melt the ice slab in their cleared lawn area.
  5. Navgem is east of Bermuda. Right where we want it.
  6. The southern system is less amped, but there’s less suppression in NNE. End result is a tick warmer.
  7. It’s less suppressed throughout…not much though.
  8. Yeah I’m less concerned about that layer…especially 925. Maybe 850 is a problem in a euro scenario.
  9. Where Merrimack Co meets Belknap. My point is there’s not a lot of wiggle room if it shifts north. For giggles I looked at my 84hr sounding and it was near 0C around 800mb. But it’s the nam at 84 so who really giaf. lol
  10. A little bit…not that there’s a 90hr NAM, but yeah, there was more suppression in NNE pre-overrunning. Nammy has a warm layer H8-75 as well. I’m not really worried about specifics, but this would be the type of system to be concerned about a warm tongue aloft while the CAA undercuts it.
  11. NAM is barely snow here, but whatev…too far out for it.
