I had this baby porky up in my pear tree this morning. I put fencing around it to keep it out, but it was able to climb up it. It wasn’t able to get back out after climbing down though so I had to remove the cage.
Tough start for the dew lovers, but I’m sure the dog days will deliver. Once that SE Can trough is booted there won’t be much to save us from the heat ridge trying to bulge in.
Took 132 home today to skip the traffic and other than a stretch near downtown Concord there was no significant defoliation for the entire ride to home. So a lot of that I93 damage is confined to near the highway
Maybe the mixed air from vehicles or salt use is affecting the fungues that keeps the spongies in check?
