    Pretty much all downhill for here after that run.

    This was the 18z GFS trying to get an inch of snow to IJD. Big omega up at H3-H5 and bone dry H65-H85. Just weird.

    A lot of those positive depth change graphics show 6-10” down there in the max zone.

    The ICON modeled snow amounts (derived by the model…not vendor algorithms) has been 3-6”. I’ve seen that model underestimate amounts before, but I agree with you that I’d take the under on most of these clown maps.

    That looks like fantasy QPF on the GFS over CT given that midlevel dry air. Sell that and buy the NAM sharp cutoff.

    Don’t worry. The arctic hounds are coming to settle over your brown ground, and I’ll have just enough of a stale pack to keep the airmass from moderating for you.
