  1. Problem is you can make the contour interval whatever you want it to be. Traditionally it’s 6dm at H5 which is probably the voodoo Rayno is referring to. As you can see, TT uses 3dm.
  2. Eh…sometimes you have to listen to the models when you’re inside 24hr and all of these runs from models with slightly different physics and parameterizations show the same basic idea.

  4. I'll have to look at the lift up there later...maybe your upslope enhancement will be in the DGZ? I think I'll be better than 10:1, but nothing special. You have to be in the meat of the deep deformation band to get the absurd ratios.
  5. At those amounts/rates you start dealing with the weight of snow upon itself too...even if you measure every 6/8/12hrs. Add in the wind and 25:1 in theory probably becomes half that.
