  1. Maybe. It may retrograde a bit eastward, but I think the forcing is still fairly QS.
  2. Yeah they all struggled, but I think the GFS had the best idea. I’m looking at 00z from Thu night and the euro had me deformed for probably 2ft while the gfs had the banding signal where it’s pounding today with a big dropoff westward.
  3. Bands are regenerating to the east to feed into the main band. The goods are just barely reaching the NH seacoast.
  4. The snow forecast was so bad wmur is highlighting the visibilities on their site.
  5. Radar precip estimates are useless in this, but can tell you the hardest hit areas…minus bright banding error.
  6. BOX radar always seems zonked 5dBZ too high. I’m really liking using TBOS during this.
  7. Looks like the band is trying to regenerate to the east as it moves slowly west. In the end it’s mostly quasistationary.
  8. SN 11.7° Pretty good blowing and drifting now.
  9. Usually the latter. I mean there can be some huge lift in those bands. Pop that deep omega in the DGZ with high supersaturation and you’ll produce huge feathery dendrites.
