  1. Down to 61°. Actually had to turn the window fan down.
  2. MAV hitting the 40° diurnal at CON tomorrow…57° to 97°. Mostly mid to upper 90s on MOS. Nothing we haven’t seen before.
  3. 1911 beats this. But those numbers also need to verify first.
  4. 82/55 Pretty much low/mid 80s over low/mid 50s up here. Nice day.
  5. Yeah I think tomorrow we mix out a bit and the next 2 days we dew it up.
  6. If it's only 95-98 tomorrow it'll be with 70+ dews. Only the NAM is like that right now. GFS, EC, HRRR keep it drier and the hot spots mix to 100-102F. Pick your poison.
  7. Chaim is like Kevin in March…unsure whether to cheer for warmth or winter, but in the end it doesn’t matter. It’s all a fail anyway.
  8. DAW hottest in the state again. Time for an ASOS visit?
  9. All real to me this time of year. The lower dews make the heat bearable and the cooler nights mean window fans over the AC.
  10. Only +1.2 at CON. The radiators were much cooler with the abundant dry days resulting in relatively lower mins...especially early in the month. Probably explains the pit at TAN too.
  11. Mostly sunny and kinda hot. Up to 84F.
  12. NAM is doing the dew on Thursday and as a result is keeping temps relatively down. We saw that happen with the 2018 early July warm plumes come verification time. Something to watch for that could be a fly in the ointment for century mark heat.
  13. That was any VT college in the 90s. The Sublime version was aight, but at LSC we always did the original. Need that video game verse or it isn’t the same.
  14. It was 97/73 but the leathery look of the leaves made it bearable
  15. I use two ply in the morning I use two ply at night I use two ply in the afternoon It makes me feel alright I use two ply in time of peace Two ply in time of war I use two ply before I use two ply And then I use some more
  16. My guess is it becomes a “mild down” like this past weekend. Late this week is going to suck. It’s tough trying to keep the birds cool…a lot easier dealing with -15° than 95°.
  17. I'd like that, but good luck at 294hr.
  18. I’ve got a couple on a handful of milkweed plants on the backside of my garage. I’m going to make a small area in the back yard next year that is all milkweed and wildflowers.
  19. Pretty good model consistency for a big heat day this Thursday. I keep waiting for the 850s to lessen, and they have, but that plume is still exceptionally warm. GFS and EC are around 22-23C near peak heating. We used to use that “add 17C” rule for hot summer days with 12z 850s and they’re running around 21C at that time. So that puts the hot spots around 38C at the sfc…ie 100F. So we’ll see if the potency of that plume survives out of the northern plains. If it is overdone there it’ll be overdone here.
