    My 4"/8" soils temps are back down to 33F/34F after tickling low 40s last week. Useless cold.

    27° for a high at CON at midnight. Old record was 29° in 1966. Tomorrow’s record low max is 22° in 1923. That must’ve been nice.

    I briefly lost control this morning as well. It was basically a flash freeze with no residual salt remaining on the roads.

    What a euro fail on temps today. Still 19.9F here and we may have our high end up being at midnight (24.7F).

    I don’t live in VT. My pool experience is from decades of living near MHT. We always opened Memorial Day weekend, but we never used it until mid June because no one wanted to go in 65-70° water.

    I had pack Dec through Mar this year.

    I’m not getting near a pool in May without a heater. I feel like our true seasons line up well with the astrological ones. Deep winter is gone by 3/21, consistent summer temps by 6/21, first 30s around 9/21, and the pack establishing by 12/21.

    I was referencing the euro the other day, but it’s been on its own warmer for Monday. NCEP, rgem, ukie all are record cold afternoon mins (still gotta watch the early 5z), but the euro looks decently warmer. 18z 925 temps…euro versus the field.

    Min 33.7° Had some frost on the soggy grass. Hopefully everything soaks in before the big freeze. The straw in the run is stink, stank, stunk.

    I would like a few nights with good sleeping, garden variety thunderstorms. I feel like it’s been awhile since we had a night of those up here.

    29F in CON in 1966. With bare ground idk if we do it. We're getting to the point where we have to tack on a couple on the 18z 2m temps wit sun and bare ground. 4/9/97 at CON was 29F but that had -20C 850s getting near the Lakes Region. On the 6z euro it's a good 4C warmer. I'll say no records, but cold enough to be annoying. Gotta watch for an early, cheap 5z high as well if the CAA doesn't come in fast enough.

    Lisa Washington? I actually looked on my cam loop and it looked like some suspicious hydrometeors so I asked her and she confirmed. I think it’s mostly sleet with the occasional burst of aggies. I haven’t looked at soundings so idk how far fetched it is.
