Yeah…I had -17 here which tied my coldest. I think that may be the last -20s for CON (-24). 18z gfs comes in colder than 12z. Looks like the coldest of the season is coming…severity tbd.

Yeah we had -10s twice here and another shot with a high of +5 and -8 min. Amazingly I’m going to finish this Jan with no min below +10.

If we have the same cultivars it doesn't matter. But it's possible the forsythia are hardier here. The rhodies are a bit protected on the east side too.

My rhodies and forsythia bloom every year. The peaches took a hit though.
