  1. That’s a good period of sleet up here. Get that south.
  2. Looks like sleet at the casa on CC. 22.3°
  3. 1.2”/0.16” when I left at 7a, but growth was improving. Still a mix of snow and sleet at CON at times, but some ZR in there too.
  4. Yeah we’ll see how it goes. I’m worried about the H75-8 warmth and the cold wedge overperforming. But it’s definitely looking more like 6” is in the cards here.
  5. 22.1° -SN/SG Pretty weak snowgrowth whenever I looked under the outside light going back to last night. Will measure in a bit, but it isn’t much.
  6. I think some in S NH are going to get an epic sleet bomb.
  7. That’s a hell of an inversion up here on the gfs. It’s practically all snow.
  8. That’s fine. It’s just that technically ZR is liquid precip so I wanted to see how he defines it before we debate model interpretation.
  9. It’s not all frozen unless you’re including ZR
  10. You’re arguing models with the king of cold.
  11. More good info here Great Ice Storms of the 20th Century
  12. Here’s Dublin NH in 86. High terrain deal though. https://www.nhhistory.org/object/300178/ice
  13. 2008 was my best icing event here, but we were definitely saved devastation from that early period of SNIP. I want to say there was a good one in SW NH in 86…March maybe?
  14. .LONG TERM /THURSDAY NIGHT THROUGH TUESDAY/... 245 PM update... Key Messages: * Travel impacts likely this weekend, especially across interior where snow probably changes to a mix or even rain for a time. Less of an impact near coast where change to all rain is more likely.
  15. Euro isn’t worth remembering at all
  16. Suddenly lots of confusion in this thread.
  17. Phil Swift NOP and Punxsutawney Phil SOP?
  18. Maybe more SNIP here, but that was quite a move NW.
