  1. Just saw that. Mid 70s to upper 40s over a short distance.
  2. Screen doors slamming shut in ENE tomorrow morning.
  3. You guys and your oak problems. The only thing I’ve seen stop an oak here is my mower when I hit a seedling.
  4. Euro def looks more interesting back toward WNE.
  5. It's the time, of the season When your well runs dry In this Stein, torch me easy And let me dry with my webbed hands To bake you in the sun Scorching lands To burn down every one It's the time, of the season for hosing
  6. 49.2° Not a summer morning, but should be a warm afternoon.
  7. Big fail on the rain here. 0.14” this morning and 0.04” this afternoon.
  8. Plant boy parts dripping wet this morning
  9. Warm day. Widespread 80s up here. Made it to 81°.
  10. I’d love to see him come here and just troll us. We deserve it.
  11. The Stein has come, to say dry air To pray for rain, to pray for pears The time has come, a fact's a fact Must irrigate, to keep it wet How can we dance with a dewless mornin'? How can we sleep while our lawns are burnin'?
  12. "You are watering window." Damn webbed fingers getting in the way and are no advantage in this dry pattern.
  13. The GFS lost the Tuesday torch. It's been really overaggressive with some of these backdoors in the extended. It used to be that if a global picked up on a hint of one you could almost guarantee it'd come to fruition. Now the GFS tries to accelerate any westward trending seagull fart back to ALB.
  14. I could name a bunch of countries I'd feel less safe being in, but yeah, we can do a lot better. Although what's happening in Ukraine does give me a little pause.
  15. People love killing other people. We've done it since the beginning of mankind. It's one of the few things we do well.
  16. Mine haven't reached that caliper yet although I do have a wild one in the back woods that's a good 2-3" diameter now and beginning to fissure on the bark...so we'll see how it does. Most of mine are from here: https://www.gonativetrees.com/american-chestnut/
  17. Hasn’t made it here yet. My american chestnut trees are thriving this year too.
  18. For sure. Definitely not a summer weekend. GFS trended a bit warmer, but Euro trended cooler and added the clouds and precip. Euro def caving more. GFS is still miserable on Monday too.
  19. Looks like they met somewhere in the middle. Sat/Sun 70+ with showers now on the gfs instead of 40s/50s.
