  1. It’s tough for me to compare to previous years because I switched my soil temps up last summer. I used to keep one at 6”, but now I have them at 4” and 8”. But 6” usually is the average of the 2 since 4” fluctuates with sfc heating and cooling and it works its way downward to 8”. edit: Just peeked at last year. The 1st 10 days of June torched and 6" got into the low 70s. Then during the cool down mid month it was around 65F. Late month we had a heat wave and it warmed back up to 70-75F. Honestly we're not much lower right now versus previous years and 2018 was actually consistently a couple degrees cooler in early June.
  2. Hope you were running because you shouldn’t be sweating at 61/49 at 7am
  3. Low 49.3° 4” soil: 62° 8” soil: 64° Not preferred

  5. I haven’t been able to put mine away yet.
  6. Vermonters praying for easterly flow so they can get a tan.
  7. Not a 10 according to some. Damn light breezes ruin everything.
  8. 51F this morning. The pawpaws would like 70F soils so we need to step it up a bit. 82/58 type days would be nice.
  9. Cool rainy day. Finally warming up into the upper 60s with breaks of sun. Had 0.98" in the stratus but the tipper is plugged with bird poop.
  10. Looks like Stein has left Tolland for the time being. Congrats on almost 2/3”
  11. 0.30” so far. Not a lot, but a beneficial drink.
  12. A nice cell just came through here and delivered a heavy trace.
  13. No idea, but it's the same price as Feb when my furnace shit the bed and I was getting oil for $3.30/gal.
  14. My local Agway currently has hardwood in pallets for $6.10/bag and softwood in pallets for $6.30/bag.
  15. Yeah I'll be prebuying soon. Can't be remotely close the 200% increase in #2 oil.
  16. My pellets remained the same price March through May while oil shot up. Not sure what they're going for now.
  17. Sticking with my pellet stove. I may get a small electric heater for the basement to take the edge off down there.
  18. Nice. Still gotta get you down to more of those SW FL beaches. Did you and Alison hit the shops in Naples before? The Gulf Coast from about your spot southward has to be one of my favorite spots in the country (minus Tampa).
  19. Not gonna lie. I'd like a good stretch of rain as long as it isn't too cool. But as we get toward mid month I'm ready for some dews. I want my plants to grow.
