  1. Tiger lilies coming up here through the snow
  2. Yeah I didn’t see the colder look in the gfs 850-500 max column temps, but it looked like mostly noise at worst when factoring in the system moving in a hair faster.
  3. Initially I thought the gfs mid level temps looked a hair warmer, but I think it’s just sped up a bit.
  4. Euro hinted at that as well, but in usual nam fashion it’s the most bonkers. 3k is more tame.
  5. Freak and dryslot the new insane clown posse?
  6. It’s going to snow on a mountain east of Anaheim. Guess we’re screwed.
  7. Wish we. It’s late Feb so who cares? I think you’re more worried about losing to Ray again than the actual rain possibility?
  8. Good consensus amongst ensemble guidance as well…EPS, GEFS, GEPS
  9. Enough blocking and cold to our north. It’s a good gradient look. Here’s the EPS for Thu morning. Looks like a torch for us right? Obviously it’ll be snowing under some of those pretty oranges. The devil is in the details.
  10. U10s here Thu afternoon while S Jersey is flirting with 80°
  11. But yeah…taking it one at a time here. Thu commute looks like shiat. Maybe it squashes south a bit or amps and we mix with some PL, but looking like a 4-8” deal right now in the CON-LCI corridor.
  12. Seems too young, but he did lose a little control during White Juan.
  13. Did Ray really just pull an all-nighter?
  14. Running out of time to get out of this. Quite the bummer, but it’s Feb so we roll with the punches.
  15. Really impressive for February. I had frozen droplets on mine and it took a few minutes of max defrosting to dislodge them.
  16. Thankfully VT sucks up most of the moisture from the west.
  17. I mean I can’t tell salt/sand residue from the OH crap anyway
