  1. Is that what they meant by a crack on the tarmac?
  2. Are there scrolls from former kings talking about previous heat waves? Is there a 250-500 year return period on a setup like this or are we in new territory? I'd assume the Medieval warm period had some great extremes from England to Iceland/Greenland.
  3. It looked nasty in NW MA and then developed the couplet in VT. It's hard to tell out there since they are so far away from all of the beams.
  4. My point is it's in the same ballpark of extreme heat and isn't quite like what the Pac NW had a year or two ago...I lose track of years now since they go by so fast. An all-time record is an all-time record is an all-time record. I'm not downplaying it nor questioning the climate change factor. They've done 100F more than us now over the last decade.
  5. Didn’t they pull off a 102° a few years ago?
  6. He does a lot of grafted pawpaws there. I've been emailing with him for awhile. Seems like a nice guy.
  7. Oh I agree. Yesterday was great for my trees. I'd take a few more days like than versus the sunny, low RH days we've had. The evapotranspiration has been off the charts over the last month (for our standards). Although we have so many invasive fungal and bacterial issues now that too much moisture can be a bigger problem. I feel like Stein typing that out...scared of too dry and too wet.
  8. @powderfreak or any of you other Vermonters out there... Are you familiar with this place? I'm considering getting some trees from him and may make the ride up this weekend. It's right next to MPV. https://www.perfectcircle.farm/
  9. Bone dry. I mean it's hot for them, but I'd take their 102/45 versus our 97/75.
  10. Lots of discharge and stroke rate, but not much severe.
  11. I think it was my well placed Will comment.
  12. Kids waterskiing through lawn chemicals
  13. All of that topsoil at the bottom of Sebago
  14. He got butt hurt the other day. He needs more milk and less beer…very thin skin.
  15. Looks like the chickens did their rain dance. Good girls.
  16. I like the trajectory of what’s coming from AQW. Up to 0.55” here.
  17. That’s been too high for awhile.
  18. at least it’s raining…..… ……a little bit
  19. Turning big time in the 0-3km layer.
  20. Replying to me? That's the last month.
  21. Slight uptick in dews up here, but overall nbd. Hopefully we get some decent rain tomorrow because we're rapidly losing near surface soil moisture now.
