  1. Maybe a little salt nuclei helping out too?
  2. Keep in mind you’re supposed to average both sides for radial ice. So you’d want to half that…1/8”.
  3. It’s been all sleet since about my last post. And yeah, you may flip back to snow before it finishes.
  4. It’s mixing here and there. There’s some pings hitting the pellet stove pipe, but it’s mostly snow. I’m leaving the sleet on top so it’ll snowblow easier.
  5. Sure. I still think you overperform on sleet and then you get a little ZR later. Still snowing here.
  6. Radar is kinda meh in SNE. Won’t be much accretion for ineedsnow.
  7. 20.0° and -SN here although we had some sleet a bit ago.
  8. Some of that wind down there is for this evening. Unless you plan on fully warm sectoring you’re not mixing down what they are.
  9. If I’m snowblowing down there I’d be tempted to wait until it’s over otherwise the driveway will be a skating rink. Definitely wait until it’s gone from sleet to zr. That sleet will sit there forever.
  10. It just washed out on cc. Back to snow?
  11. Big aggies now. Must be some >32.0° aloft.
  12. Pingers knocking on Mark’s door. Maybe another hour of snow here if I’m lucky. Could use a well timed wash back to CON on CC.
  13. Yeah it’s washing out a bit on cc. I see FIT is 1/2sm. Must be some pingers still though.
  14. That’s not usually good growth in these setups. It’s usually grains.
  15. @CoastalWx KPSM 161155Z 02008KT 5/8SM R34/4500VP6000FT -SN BR SCT003 OVC011 M04/M05 A2991 RMK AO2A SLP133 P0002 60022 70037 4/012 T10361050 11035 21048 57041
  16. Yeah but that was a 1hr forecast too. I expected the mid level warmth and the low level cold to overperform so we’ll see how it shakes out today. Probably a lot of sleet.
  17. Sleet is pushing CON now. 11z HRRR 1hr forecast only had it near the MA border at 12z. Hopefully we can wash out the mix on cc soon.
