I'm ready for a snowy stretch...especially if it doesn't come with the excessive cold. Cold enough for white is good enough for me. This may be our peak stretch of a pathetic winter so let's get it as deep as possible.
The sun can be very damaging to fruit trees during these warmups when it gets the sap flowing and then it freezes hard overnight. Look up "southwest injury" .
I like these borderline warning events. Nothing too crazy, but enough that it doesn't feel annoyingly useless clearing it either. It insulates the fruit trees from all of this brutal cold we've been having too.
It's a little mixed here. We're on the outskirts of CON so we have a good mix of libbies and Magas. Go a couple of towns over and it starts looking more like Pete's.
