Solid 2F step shift warmer starting earlier this year

There’s no reason why BDL is 3-5F warmer than BAF, CEF, and HFD almost every afternoon when it hasn’t historically been this drastic.

The other problem with the euro overmixing is it gets the mixing heights up around H75-H8 so you’re mixing dry adiabatically down to 850. So you’re inflating the temp at that level a couple degC as well. It all ties in together. That’s why when I see it spitting out 105/55 at 2m with 24C 850s and mixing to H75 I just instatoss it and play it closer to normal big heat climo.

GYX had 26C in their AFD and 103 in the grids at d6 at one point and I was bewildered at what they were looking at. But yeah…tough to break all time records when the 850s can’t even make top 10.
