  1. The ground and other surfaces lose heat to space. So the 2m air temp is cooled from the ground-upward. You will tend to see frost or frozen dew form on those colder surfaces before the 2m temp can reach the freezing point.
  2. That's a quick end to summer on the fantasyland gfs.
  3. To be fair it's difficult to tell the climate is changing when you're with PF at Stowe all of the time.
  4. FVE pulled off that 32F with wind. That's impressive.
  5. Looks like it's clearing rapidly near the NH/MA border though.
  6. He's right though. 50s and rain for another 9 months.
  7. Leaves are starting to turn up here. It’s low color, but some of the early changing spots are looking good.
