  1. If we have the same cultivars it doesn't matter. But it's possible the forsythia are hardier here. The rhodies are a bit protected on the east side too.
  2. My rhodies and forsythia bloom every year. The peaches took a hit though.
  3. Can't recall seeing 18z 2m temps modeled that low here before. Hope it moderates a lot.
  4. All about the mid level temps. CAA beginning aloft.
  5. Heavy glazing overnight. 32.3° now. Driveway is done, but 4” of muck was a mess.
  6. 29.0° FZRA 3.7” sn/ip final. 0.58” liquid. kinda surprised the sleet was so brief. Hopefully we latently heat up to 32° soon.
  7. 25.5° +SN Pingers are up to Mark and in this area…maybe another hour or so of snow. Hopefully we can wash it out a bit.
  8. A few weeks of in June and it’ll crisp right up like bacon.
  9. It means something. We have a bit of a barrier jet going and we’re advecting some of that low level cold in Maine our way. I’m at my low for the day now…25.9° and a steady drop. So we’ll torch aloft over the next few hours, but we’ll hold sleet and eventually ZR for awhile. I’m waiting to clear the mess. I’m hoping we just crust the surface and hold the snow consistency at the bottom through the duration.
  10. Little wind here. Not a downsloping location here with mid level SE flow
  11. The GFS is really holding the CAD here. Snow to ZR and then the CAA.
  12. Trending the wrong way here. Leaning 4-6” now
  13. That's just an automated result of their ranges. The point forecasts are skewed toward the 8".
  14. Yeah when I lost power briefly yesterday I checked the NHEC outage map and saw how that area was a shitshow. Hopefully they get everyone back up before tomorrow night.
  15. Yeah we need to get the snow melted off the trees today or some evergreens are coming down. I think we'll be okay back this way. A decent front end of snow and then near the dryslot when the mixing approaches.
  16. Subarctic...cP...whatever. I never said it was a brutal shot. But if the GFS 2m temps verify we'd probably pull a day or two BN. But I could see where the mins fail and it ends up near normal or slightly above.
  17. I forgot to measure it this morning to see the compaction. It was 21" last night.
