    Going back to 1882, CON’s latest min in the 30s is 10/1 in 2021. We will beat that easily this year.

    The thing is we keep moving the goalposts every 10 years with the normals changing. The normal CON September with the 1961-1990 normals was 58.8°. It’s now 61.0°. So they’re running +0.2° so far this month, but that would’ve been a +2.4° in the 1990s.

    Yeah there’s a stretch in there just N of CON on 93 that is like half full of dead trees.

    Maybe. Didn’t see any at all this year around the area from here to CON.

    Slow growing, but that’s typical for them. Some kind of caterpillar defoliated them late summer too…but they’ll be fine.
