I haven’t been to Richardson’s, but I only do the basic ingredients in my ice cream…milk, cream, eggs, real sugar, flavor.
What does he have for a pack? A crusty 2-3”? What is he hanging on for? We’re ending Feb seasonably warm and then we’re onto March. He was ready to install in March last year.
We use only pellets with no problem. I found a brand that burns so much hotter and cleaner in my stove than others. I had it run for 2 weeks straight with no signs of clinkers…most of the others would start building and clogging up after 2-3 days. We had -10s a few mornings and the living room was 75-77 and the opposite side of the house was still 65-67. They renewed my faith in the stove.
