  1. Let me correct that. Those aren’t the frontal positions, but rather the position of the R/S line at the 6hrly prog times.
  2. I drew the 6hrly fropa positions for you. You can see the highest snow totals are closest to the front position since it’s calling that whole 6hr period as snow, but the most remaining QPF is to the east.
  3. Well I don’t think 80s are happening, but I wouldn’t rule out a couple days of 70s if everything comes together.
  4. What are we looking at? It’s a few flurries or snow showers after fropa. Don’t believe those flawed clowns. SV is taking the temps supportive of snow at a certain hour and calling all QPF before that as accumulating snow. But the problem is we’re going from 55 to 35 in 6hrs. That’s why you’re getting the fictitious tiger looking snow stripes where the front is positioned every 6hrs.
  5. The real warmth is progged for after next weekend. Early this week is just the tip.
  6. What a furnace on the ensembles. Hopefully the fruit trees don’t wake up.
  7. Unfortunately guinea hens are more known for clearing ticks than chickens. I haven’t noticed any of my girls eating them as any I catch I squash. But if those lantern flies make it up here it’ll be a fly feast with the way my girls stalk and eat moths.
  8. Anyway. Quite a change of the airmass today. It was 34/32 here at 4am but 25/6 a little over 5hrs later.
  9. It won’t be long before those lone star ticks are even up to my neighborhood. They’re more aggressive than other ticks.
  10. I had a dog tick on me on Christmas day this year. lol
  11. We got the snow and then the sun. Beautiful sunny afternoon.
  12. 44F and full sun all afternoon. The snow vaporized.
  13. Damn that commute was a mess. No salt until CON
  14. Yeah this is becoming more annoying. Steady -SN 31.8° Up to 0.7”
  15. 31.4° -SN Maybe a couple tenths so far. Hard to tell. Just enough to be a messy commute. Thankfully it’ll all melt later today.
