    Still some split flow there with a weak ridge axis in western NAMER. Trough in the east. Ridging over Greenland. PV over Hudson Bay. It’s nothing epic, but we can snow with that.

    Still a fairly deep pack up here. If I was threatening open areas I’d be signing up for a 2-4 or 3-6 in advance of the cold shots coming to keep the fruit trees warm, but my nape has been sun kissed the past week and I have my sights set on spring. So the lower the precip right now the better. I want to minimize mud season this year.

    I just meant there’s no real changes to the longwave look. But you’re getting out toward V-day so the normal caveats apply.

    What? Why? Snowfall is naturally going to be skewed toward bigger seasons at lower latitudes. Why would you just pretend the 3 snowiest seasons never happened? Just find the median value or the range of snowfall that is +/- 1 or 2 SD from the mean. Maybe you should’ve went to bed earlier.
