Not much, if any, flare there. Either there was some shear, he misjudged due to DRSN, the landing gear just simply failed, or there’s some combination of those. Amazing they all lived.

Strong wind all night kept us fully mixed. Hopefully this is the last week of the consistently frigid mornings. If this is the high water mark of the pack then I’d like to start melting some of it too. Give me some 35-40/15-20 type days with sun.

Breezy but nothing insane unless there was some kind of rogue gust local to the plane proximity. It couldn’t have been going that fast to be upside down that cleanly.
Well I don’t think we’re touching 1969 or 2008 unless we can get a couple more biggies. 1969 was probably over 4ft and I had 43” in Mar 08. 2001 was probably 3ft+ up here too.
Last core was 1.6”/0.15”, but that was taken this morning…fell asleep before I could get the measurement in last night.
So I’m going with 8.5”/1.20” final total. Time to clear it.
