  1. not through jun 8 as it looks from this view from phl north perhaps even bwi
  2. We'll see if that heavier 1.75+ pushes east
  3. Similar # of 80 degree days vs last May - less clouds and raw days last year, but overall a touch warmer this year
  4. Through May 25th EWR: +2.6 JFK: +1.8 NYC: +1.5 TTN: +1.0 LGA: +0.6
  5. 75 ENE here. Great day
  6. 75 and partly sunny day going for the 5th straight 80(+) day. Upepr 70s low 80s for most. Some scattered showers but overall dry and quite nice. Sunday more of the same partly sunny low 80s for most. Memorial southerly flow pushes humidity / and trough pushes is clouds then rounds of heavy showers and rain byt he afternoon. Beyond Memorial day , to close the month, trough into the NE, near normal / slightly below (coolest on Wed/Thu). GFS drier this coming week. A wild goose chase for any heat or heatwave through the first 8 days of next month (next 2 weeks) as troughs will have a tendency to linger near the northeast or cut off along the east coast. Not a cool pattern but could turn wet and cut off any heat. Ridging into the second third of the month seem the progression.

  10. Early June trough clinging off the NE coast.
  11. 79 and partly sunny, warmest day of the next 7-9 on tap. Some showers and more clouds over the Sothern 1/3 of NJ. Mid - upper 80s (warm spots small outside shot at 90). Sat looks dry and partly sunny low 80s and Sun similar but chance of showers/rain by the later pm. Memorial day looking potentially quite wet. Beyond there trough into the NE to close may near / slightly below normal. Next month opens with a trough cutting off and pending on the location of the cut off we'll see a southerly flow or onshore flow and perhaps unsettles through the 5th. Beyond there heights rise into the second week of the month.
  12. Cloudy and storms rolling through 72 and a bit humid 65 DT. We'll see how much clearing we have after lunch and try to push to streak to 3 straight 80+days for much of the area, otherwise steady in the 70s. Breaks into W- PA now. Warmer tomorrow , next outside chance of 90 or 2 reading in the warmer spots. The weekend looks best Fri/Sat and rain/storm chances Sunday and Memorial day. Trough swings through and we wend the month near / cooler than normal 5/27- 5/3. Heights rise to open next month 6/1 - 6/4 with a brief warmup but tendency for ridge out west with troughinng into the NE early persistenton guidance. https://cdn.star.nesdis.noaa.gov//GOES16/ABI/SECTOR/NE/GEOCOLOR/GOES16-NE-GEOCOLOR-600x600.gif

  14. Up to 85 / 64 plenty of mid / upper 80s today. We'll see if anyone can touch 90. Showers/storms (clouds) tomorrow but still warm. Dries out Fri (5/24) and much of Sat (5/25). Still a bit iffy on timing of showers and rain chances this 3 day weekend between late Sat - Sun (5/26) and/or later Sun and Memorial day (5/27). Beyond there 5/28 - 5/30 trough into the east and overall near normal with brief warmup 5/31 with trough to open next month and a cooler first 5 days looking longer range. Beyond there height rise towards the 6th / warmer.

  18. Up to 81 with bright sunshine.
  19. late Sun/Mon are period to watch for some steadier rain chances. Think Fri - Sat are mainly dry (once front clear overnight thu/Fri erly AM)
  20. Sunny - SW winds now and to 66. Great period (warm/dry) starting back on Sunday through this Fri.
  21. 63 and clearing out the low level clouds, sunny now. Warmup with above to much above normal under way , should get to mid - upper 80s (perhaps to 90 in the warmer spots (Wed/Thu) the next 4 days Tue ( 5/21) - Fri (5/24). Some rain chances with front later Thu / Fri. Clouds could get in the way of more 80s Sat and Sun before a wetter Memorial day this weekend. We'll see how the front evolves and if the drier or wtter forecasts evolve. A tendency for old fashioned troughs to close May and open the first 4 days of the next month before heights rise into the east. Overall near normal temps and rain in the period.
