  1. Happened a few years ago in Georgia, I think it was 48 or 49 when it started.
  2. That's what I'm hoping for right now. Last system had me changing to rain, but with how heavy the precip was, our temp dropped as we stayed all snow.
  3. I think I saw on Twitter that while the models are showing rain, the soundings look more like snow. I don't know how true that is though, would love to get some sounding analysis
  4. Lookout might get some action as well from those maps
  5. That gives the north east/east atlanta suburbs a solid event. Looks like 2-3 inches near me
  6. NAM nailed last weekends snow and has stuck to its gun each run on this storm. Wouldn't be going against it right now. Especially with all the other models trending that was as well
  7. I like that map with the differences in the models.
  8. I think I'll be lucky to see some flakes in this one. Good luck to those in NC/SC/NGA mountains!
  9. Would love to see this bust in the right direction again for north GA
  10. Got around 2.5-3 inches here in Jackson county, GA. Coming to an end soon, but what a nice surprise. All snow from start to finish, and beat the "up to 1 inch" prediction.
  11. I'm really shocked they didn't change my county to a warning. I might end up with 3-4 inches
  12. Yep. I think it was 2011 where it was extremely cold almost all winter. We had a small little disturbance that brought us an inch or 2, and stayed on the ground for a couple days. Light snow, but just so cold that it stuck so quick
  13. 2 tornado warnings 2 days ago, to 2 inches of snow and really coming down.
  14. Looks like it's staying all snow north of Atlanta.
  15. Heavy snow with massive flakes now. Forecast busted in my area in a good way
  16. Snow really coming down. Flakes got smaller as the snow got heavier. Wundeground has me switching to rain here in Braselton in about an hour, but hopefully with how hard the snow is coming down, it will stay snow
  17. Flakes starting in Braselton,GA
  18. Sorry I moved this year. Haven't been on here in a couple years. But I'm in Braselton, and if I'm reading this right, I'm at 900 ft
  19. Not sure how high elevation I am honestly
  20. I'm in Jackson county, GA, right on the edge of Hall county. Looks like I'm right on the edge of the heavier precip, hoping its more snow than rain
