    In a long duration storm of this caliber... 12-18 is rather easy with lollies to 24+ under the death bands.. IF it pans out ......

    I just hope this one doesn't fizzle out at the 2 minute warning and we all get 24 hours plus of moderate snow with some death bands mixed in! Just a real good storm. Today should be a good day and may the snow gods dump the goods starting tomorrow!

    Yes indeed but whats the population/ poster ratio to square miles. We probably still have 3 times as many people posting if not more.. And I wont mention that the weather is quite different 100 miles apart, even 50 miles apart in our particular area. Other areas flat out dont see dry slots, mix lines, sharp cutoffs and go through the heartache we do. Its a bit different here. JMO. Wont say anything more about it.

    Just an idea man but 3/4 of the forum is always bitchin because 100 miles away sees a jackpot on a model run. We might as well include the DC and Boston folks into one big forum

    I was in it. 63 hours straight. Pulled into a driveway with a 15 foot drift. I'll never forget.

    Didn't boxing day swing south at this time frame only to return 24 hours out?? Not that it matters but after years of this, you eventually learn that anything can happen up until it starts. It recent years, the models have become a joke..
