That was sudden. Went from big fatties and low visibility to some light snizzle in about 2 minutes in Randolph. About 3 inches on the ground. Sent from my SM-A546U using Tapatalk
Blue Hills Observatory with 6.8 inches at 7 AM. What a difference 3 miles and 400+ feet of additional elevation makes. Sent from my SM-A546U using Tapatalk
Anyone want some firewood. It's sassafras. Good for firepits, but don't know about stove or fireplace. I'm in Randolph MA if interested. Sent from my SM-A546U using Tapatalk
I'm dreaming of a brown Christmas Just like the ones we've come to know Where the Blue Hills glisten And we just listen To leaves crunching underneath our toes! Sent from my SM-A546U using Tapatalk
Biggest wind so far just ripped through here in Randolph. Trees bending but nothing breaking. So glad we took down one big cracked oak this summer. Sent from my SM-A546U using Tapatalk
Almost no acorns this year after a couple of big years, so maybe the critters are trying to send us a message! [emoji2537] Sent from my SM-A546U using Tapatalk
Thanks. That's what my wife thought too. Not sure where the nearest tree is. Certainly not in our yard, but I will look around. Sent from my SM-A546U using Tapatalk
We noticed the same thing in early September. The birds just see to vanish. Most have slowly returned now, but not seeing any finches or woodpeckers. Cardinal numbers also seem low as do the returning juncoes. Haven't seen any theories or explanations. Sent from my SM-A546U using Tapatalk
Having a beer on the patio now after some leaf cleanup and the crickets are out here as well. Also got buzzed by a mosquito earlier. November of yore. Sent from my SM-A546U using Tapatalk
Fortunately they lean away from the house. We took down one giant oak this summer that leaned over the house once we discovered there was a crack about halfway up. Sent from my SM-A546U using Tapatalk
We have one or two oaks that are still mostly green. Usually a lot of leaves still on the trees by the time of the last town pickup in early December. Sent from my SM-A546U using Tapatalk
33 for my low in Randolph at 225 feet. We don't radiate here. No frost and not even a hint of ice on the birdbaths. Sent from my SM-A546U using Tapatalk
Usually have pizza, but went for the burger last night. Quite tasty. I was the only one dining outside, but it was nice out. Probably the last time until spring. Sent from my SM-A546U using Tapatalk
