  1. Snow is picking back up here with nice sized flakes again.
  2. Nice picture. Those flakes were no joke. Some of them were the size of sparrows lol.
  3. Thanks, it is indeed picturesque. I’ve been outside watching the massive flakes fir about 30 min and almost an inch has accumulated.. so about 2”/hr at the moment.
  4. The flakes are so big they are leaving impact craters
  5. Moderate snow with big flakes.. about 2”
  6. Ok ... what is your forecast? I would love to hear from an expert.
  7. Well hello I was a student at both schools and now teach at Baker. Perhaps we roamed those places at the same time. Anyway, luck with any possible snow tomorrow, or next weekend.
  8. I’m live on the north side. I teach science at Baker
  9. “damascus should be getting decent rates currently, no? Looks decent on radar.” Just started getting some bigger flakes, but I could dodge them if I had to lol. Maybe it will hold for a bit.
  10. I feel like the anti snow shield is over my house lol.
  11. Wow, that’s an awesome total compared to my location which is just a few miles away. I’m in Damascus and have 2.5”. My area never had any moderate snow with higher ratio flakes. Myby has been mostly pixe dust. Hopefully tomorrow will yield another inch or two.
  12. Snow flakes are getting g bigger and rate is increasing. About 2” on the ground
  13. Agree, watching radar definitely takes the joy away. Although there is not much snow joy happening here right now- barely snowing with just under 2” so far. I’m hoping to see some nice flakes at some point.
  14. The lower elevation might make sense. If you look at snowfall maps of average snow in this area, you can definitely see the effect of elevation in the region, but this sugarloaf snow hole just seems weird. It also looks like the lower amounts follow the Potomac river.
