  1. Being bullish is better for ratings and ad revenue. Sent from my motorola edge plus using Tapatalk
  2. I lived in Richmond for eight years and I know what you mean, especially 2010 coming from NOVA. Now I'm a little south of Lynchburg and it's pretty comparable to Richmond, just a little more elevation. Sent from my motorola edge plus using Tapatalk
  3. Maybe I should have waited to post until after 12Z Euro, but nothing is set in stone. Sent from my motorola edge plus using Tapatalk
  4. In a general sense that's more often right than not, but so far I would say more mix than rain for RVA. Sent from my motorola edge plus using Tapatalk
  5. But for January 1996 at the 11pm news his forecast map was 1-2 feet area wide. I knew then it must be the real deal.
  6. ^Look at Gretna getting a mention. I'm just north of there in Altavista. Sent from my motorola edge plus using Tapatalk

  8. Keweenaw County in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, that little jut of land surrounded by Lake Superior. Other than the West that's where the snow is. Calumet (Tamarack loc.) Day: 1.9 Season: 231.8 On Ground: 47
  9. To have Bob Ryan, who was always conservative but usually right to predict 1-2 feet before a flake fell was awesome. Sent from my moto z3 using Tapatalk
  10. That is most definitely NOT a Shenandoah Valley "bullseye."
  11. They do cross near Fair Oaks Mall. To the east 50 is south of 66 like in Arlington.
  12. ^^^What does it look like? Between Danville and Lynchburg still look good for 8+ inches?
  13. We moved six months ago from Chesterfield to Altavista, just up 29 from you. I'm expecting little to nothing here. Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
  14. 1, Feb. 1979 PD1--11 years old first really big snow I remember well-there was already a few inches on the ground before it began--out of school the whole week- 2. Jan. 1996--to have Bob Ryan (notoriously conservative) predict 2 feet of snow before it began, I knew it was going to be good--followed by a few more clippers to freshen up the snow pack 3. Feb. 2003--PD2--snow pack stayed for weeks 4. March 1993 Superstorm--sleet really cut down on accumulations in Arlington, but very powerful winds painful missing out on 2009 and 2010--in Richmond so it was very painful to get decent to good accumulations while NOVA/DC area got absolutely obliterated
  15. I did too. My dog was none too happy.
