Was in the narrow band that continually lucked out yesterday with repeating storms in Alexandria, measured ~2.5 inches in Del Ray from four rounds of downpours.

It feels like the HRRR provides all the NAM’s consecutive thrills of victory and agonies of defeat, just on an hourly basis.
If nobody ever responded (and/or he were 5 posted), he would lose interest. That said, Perhaps exceeding 4 inches will put him in a snow coma and we won’t hear from him the rest of the winter.
