Areas that are not typically impacted by floodwaters may flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of heavy rainfall are expected due to the interaction of tropical moisture along a stationary front, followed by the passage of Tropical Storm Helene. Storm-total rainfall of 8-12 inches is expected along the entire length of the Blue Ridge Escarpment with widespread 5-8 inches expected across the remainder of the mountains as well as the Piedmont.   2. I realize that the models are fine tuning the rain amounts, but after watching prior amounts vanish for mby I’m not buying anything until I can see the whites of its eyes

  6. I’m not too impressed either for mby. I couldn’t even get to the 1” mark last month and could really use some of the rain that’s being shown

  11. I’ve got my fingers crossed that the dry air and front coming doesn’t completely destroy it. Any rain is good rain and I want to stay in denial of drought for as long as possible
