  1. Do not clutter up a storm thread with this. If you believe you are right, explain it with a map at the time you are giving your opinion. If not, stop posting.
  2. The outside looking in if he doesn't either read more and post less or learn how to read a map Although doing both(less posting+learning) would be preferred
  3. Exactly why there should be one even if the only reason is the first legit shot in 3 solid years. If it goes south, misery loves company and it's all contained there
  4. I realize I've been gone from here (taking care of family in hospice) for a bit, and since this is the first chance I've had to pop in here I have to ask a question. Why hasn't anyone started a thread for this yet? I've been watching this period for 3+ weeks now and just knew you guys would have started one that has the hot sign under it
  5. I take breaks like that too I'm sending good vibes that the system heading into the gulf this next week gets sheared and sucked up by the front and we all get some beneficial rain with a touch of rumbling thunder
  6. Did @Met1985 unplug and take a break? It's too quiet in here
  7. The most snow I've ever had in SC was in Feb of 2010 when I lived in Gaston. I got 9" of winter bliss out of .43 of liquid and it was completely melted and dry before lunch
  8. What!? Yasssss!! We lived in Xenia until the tornado took us out and then West Carrollton before moving west to Texas then Arizona. The Dayton area and I still have family there. Where did you live? Those two winters were awesome and the snow stayed until after my birthday in April each year
  9. I enjoyed listening to the thunder rumble too
  10. He told the truth. Times were tough way back during the frozen golden years of my younger days Heck, it was so cold and snowy back in the day, that the Ohio river froze two winters in a row and I walked across it both times
  11. Don't worry, they'll be back next week when it's in the mid 70's
  12. Those questions are usually answered in the main thread up until it's go time. Once the system is within a couple of days of impact, there are just too many posts at the same time for the knowledgeable people to answer. I wish I had an answer. We used to be able to 5 post people, but haven't had that option in years.
  13. I totally understand your frustration. For every post you see that shouldn't be there, know that there are 20 others posted at the same time that were deleted. That is probably an underestimated amount too. I have no idea how many posts are deleted per storm or even per day, but it's an insane amount.
  14. Says one of the biggest trolls here. Bless your heart
  15. I've been in the thread for days now deleting posts. There are only so many of us and we have jobs, family, recovering from a hurricane, parent in the hospital, ya know life. Yet we are here, doing what we can to control the flow, while everyone spews whatever thought flows through their head and out of the keyboard. It's unbelievable that I'm having to defend myself because I don't hold up to your so called standards
