I am a 'retired' educator in McDowell County, having served the public schools for 25 years. I taught lots of different things, but mostly Latin and English literature...21 years in the same room at McDowell High. It looked like it, too .

I have been a professional musician for 40 years, and have had some success in years most recent as an audio engineer and record producer...I have a state-of-the-art studio here on the premises.

I have also been a public radio host the last 25 years at WNCW at Isothermal Community College in Spindale, NC. My program is the Saturday Night House Party, which airs each week from 7p-11p.

I love to fly-fish for wild trout when I can make the time...
