  1. Looks like you beat me to it. See my post. this definately is bunk IMO. HH will fix
  2. This is what screwed up the NAM. This will correct at happy hour. That bunk SLP 500 miles off coast is likely bunk and robbing energy from the little pinhole (which is likely the real SLP). Watch for this at HH.
  3. This NAM run is being brought to you by the letters A and B.
  4. welcome back pal. BTW, theyve been hammerin our choice of beer. Might need your help defending....lol's. I was gonna suggest we call this potential storm the "Hi Life" storm....but was fearing eternal mockery.
  5. sounds like i need to find a vid of his exit. I always appreciate a good sign off for someone deserving....and although they arent my team (Eagles), I give him props....cept that little bump in the middle of his career....he's human so nbd.
  6. early look at nooner 12k. Subtle but notable change that may help this to get under us. Nooner. better push from the north should help IMO
  7. That's cool....(not the divorce part....sorry). Not heard of that system, as I've used Kodiaks, both at cabin and house. Now having this....yeah they are not too efficient comparatively speaking. Being told I'll us 25-33% less wood w/ this system, so that was another factor.... In summary, I still get to play w/ wood....just not as much . Go ahead y'all...have some fun at my expense.
  8. first world problems for sure, but buy one of these and you dont have to. https://www.blazeking.com/products/wood-inserts/sirocco-25/ Truth told, its taking some getting used to w/ catalytic converter in it, but last night was the "best burn" we had. put wood on at 930 and woke up to nice bed of coals to drop 2 logs on before work. House was warmest weve had it since owning (18yrs). Heat didnt kick on once. Really impressed. This system is known for 24-30 hr burns (w/ airtight house blah blah blah). I love cutting, splitting wood, but am old enough that after chimney fire last spring, we really considered propane insert. We then agreed that NOTHING heats/feels like wood, so we did this. this system is so efficient, that we get a 26% tax credit for installing it. When catalytic is engaged....you cant see the smoke outside.
  9. 12k vs 3k show several hundred mile difference in SLP placement. I think 12K NAM has some catching up to do . Once it shifts SLP south twds other guidance, me thinks all this Miller chatter goes away. Enough guidance suggests this runs under us just like it should given setup.
  10. I vote Miller H or Miller L. Sounds like you beer snobs vote Miller P for piss. I like a good beer but Miller is my go to fridge beer. Keeps my beer belly n sugar in check.
  11. Nailed it. Storms always are looking for energy. This one should run the baroclinic zone to the shore (think of the ocean as it’s next food source if you will). Hope that analogy helps.
  12. Sounds like euro has a transfer showing, so verbatim with the euro it would be. Other models are riding the boundary.
  13. That’s my beer (sugar free). sauss n I do hi life lite. Btw has anyone heard from him. I’m gonna text him. He’s been away from the board. Hope our pal is ok.
  14. Can you look it share 700 panels at same time stamp. That’s where our storm should show best.
  15. Yep sure are. For any B there still has to be a “transfer”. As others stated, this one, like today is riding a boundary. Difference is the next one should have better trough axis for our region.
  16. New Wood stove is getting its first real workout.
  17. Just clarifying for those who may not know the difference. For those not sure…See carlisle’s eloquently stated description.
  18. That sounds like a great way to describe…… jipped
  19. I’ve not touched my snowblower or sleds yet as I didn’t want to jinx it. Maybe I need to start playing with them to tell the weather gods….we’re ready…
  20. I dont have off hr access to Euro, but all other models that have storm are not B's....as there is no transfer regarding SLP. Precip outputs may present as a B, but technically, its just us finding another way to get jipped...
  21. Gotta say that the Ens guidance while having a much better PNA and longwave troughy look, definately do not have a deep cold look. IMO that can be a good thing as we might be talking suppression depression in peak climo.. I guess we take our chances and roll em.... Still WAAAYYYY better look than the cluster F we've been in of late.
