Unfortunately it can/does get ugly sometimes, but as you stated rather eloquently, it carries a lot of emotions and is quite personal for a myriad of reasons, but having said that, there are MANY different stories, and I want to remind people that we live in an era that we typically hear about the bad ones, as they are more "newsworthy", and not the oh he/she recovered so who really cares (like my 92 yr old aunt this is recovered at her LTC facility). One must consider how many have recovered knowingly/unknowingly, and that # (98-99+%) by far and away outnumbers the tragic stories that we read every day (but surely doesn't diminish the sadness of them). That variable will always be the albatross wrt CV 19 and responses thereof. Like it or not, we've all seen or heard about distortion of data, and based on the gravity of those actions, it has been troubling at best. It is happening to varying degrees, and that's concerning. A quick google search supports the validity of that claim. No one should leave any forum butthurt or pissed when "fired upon"... I know I sometimes leave scratching my head in disbelief, or wow...i just learned something, or just take a break when I'm outnumbered/browbeat...or wrong (yes....it can happen...lol). I hate how Voyager likes warmth and will troll him for it (mid winter mind you ), but id gladly drink a beer w/ him, and consider all here my weather pals, and I think he/everyone knows that by now. Whether we think alike or not, its all good, as we learn the most from the ones we have the least in common with, as it broadens ones spectrum of values/beliefs, or self awareness. That IS a good thing. Ogunquit has been my farthest north trip into ME. Honeymoon, and vowed to get back.....before 20 yr anniversary..... I'll celebrate 28 this fall. Still on the list. My god that town is a postcard paradise. You live in a beautiful region. Like you, I often get screwed, but just nw of me can get into the goods, and I'm usually a couple hour drive to snow.

In other news. GFS op and ens are looking "moist" in eastern half of the country. Not sure based on 500 flow how "moist" it really gets, but yards would approve of 12z's look if verified. My wife LOVES that word....

thats similar to what we looked like prior to the rains. still have a few areas that arent bouncing back, and maybe burnt toast already. Having a couple shallow rock veins below surface is really challenging when trying to keep a nice lawn.

We received 3 bouts of heavy rains over the last 4 days. Didn't expect it but we are lucky and glad to have it. Lawn is alive, but still not healthy. Cant imagine what lawns may look like if one didn't get much from the weekend, and doesn't get much in the next round of heat later this week. Yuk.

fwiw 18z nam just ticked notably west w/ qpf field for this weekend. no drenching rains, but maybe enough for much of the eastern 1/3 of pa to get some lawn love from above. .3-.5 west to east around philly before it ramps up notably.

My wife just shakes her head as its been my new toy for a while now. Im trying to do it w/o phosphates and all of the bad bay stuff. Couple that w/ 3 shallow rock beds....I lose every year. Boy did it look nice in early June though.
