  1. Main attraction has arrived in northern Lanco. Just beautiful. Now I just count every hour of +SN as a win and see where we end up.
  2. Yeah, its like someone at the NWS has a beef w/ someone in Lanco. ugh
  3. Just got home from Etown. Starting to snow with purpose here in Akron. Prob .75” here so far.
  4. . again....just for fun. Gonna be what its gonna be. Just happy that the eeking NW stopped for LSV. Horst may once again be onto something.
  5. Yeah as soon as i posted, so did ours, but now were back on and headed towards -sn
  6. Guys check out the thread i started. Post over there for this storm if you woudnt mind. thx
  7. Started a thread in hopes that it's one to remember. Enjoy gang. Been fun.
  8. It's been long overdue. Finally something worth remembering in 2020 for what has otherwise been a horrid year for many. Separate thread in hopes that it's one to remember for most if not all of us. Been a long time since a forum wide event like this has happened. Hoping it's bookmarked for years to come. NWS forecast basically at go time..... Discuss, good luck to all..... and enjoy. Nut
  9. first flakes in Etown 9:50 AM!! Let the fun begin. Good luck all. It's been fun trackin. Now let's enjoy the fruits of our labor (easy Atomix).
  10. since they should be considered more as were in short range/go time. 6z 12z
  11. Just posting for fun....its basically go time, but for us fringers a subtle shift here n there is a welcome thing. The rest of ya's are locked/loaded and staring down the barrel of a snow cannon. Enjoy every flake (pellet) you can.
  12. Compared to last 2 runs of it....not sure I see what you see. Seems reasonable and deform looks to be showing some muscle to help on the backside.
  13. agreed 100%. If you and I lose rates....were toast.
  14. Soo....whatdya think about Horsts call? The warm nose is there, but its not a strong one IMO, and as i parse over meso's we only lose 850's and below for a 2-4 hr window. You see any surprises? I think we go to sleet at best, but little if any zr (and most models show this). I guess I'm hoping for dynamic cooling during max qpf to help us (if there are any surprises to be had for LSV).
  15. seeing him bullish for 12-18 in my area, gives me hope.
  16. Thanks and agreed. The only thing I love more than searching for snow on computers, is seeing snow for real. I'll be on here much less once we get started as I'll be outside relishing the moment.
  17. meso's starting to show us gettting dry slotted (which was discussed by Mag as a concern yesterday). Just need a little eastward movement of LP to help save us from too much dry time while our nw brethren are getting ccb'd.
  18. Yep. I'll post em when were done. Crazy gradient somewhere between or just north of us. We'll know tomorrow at this time.
  19. Hey Kirby. Hope all is well. Youre not dreaming. Stay home and enjoy the show. NC looks to be on the northern periphery of the jackspot, but should get enough for the anxious ones to get some snowmobiling in.
  20. for the ones that know me well, that is my ONLY payment method I accept. oh and fwiw, i got downgraded a bit. I'm still north of the 11 so I will roll w/ it. 12" is my snow goal for this one. Funny how you might get double that and your like 35 miles WNW of me.
  21. Im planning on a post snowblowing cocktail tomorrow! My neighbors loovve when I get my big honkin snowblower out and they suddenly seem to like me all over again.
  22. MHL in the snow pics incoming. I still have your pic from the last blizz.
