  1. The fast flow has been a big part of almost every event this season. This shouldn’t be any different.
  2. There is a big gaping hole between the northern and southern…streams. Hopefully it fills in a bit
  3. Maybe someone should fire up a thread for the Sat/Sun deal? I gave it my best in the one for tonight/tomorrow.
  4. Funny thing is the NAM actually dumps a lot of precip (18z 3k version shows 0.8"+ near me) for tonight/tomorrow. Radar suggests otherwise. Some of the earlier runs were drier
  5. OES stuff falling in SE MA looking at radar.
  6. Prob 6” or so in my front yard. Maybe 8? Haven’t really checked.
  7. Yup. I’ve seen flakes each day since Saturday. It looks like winter even if there is only a few inches OTG
  8. You need to visit a rage room. You might enjoy it.
  9. Yeah. It’s not like we have had rain events either. Plenty of weather when it has been plenty cold for snow. But always one way or another to pork us. I was talking to a coworker who does ski club with me. This was the first season we could recall when we didn’t have at least one trip postponed due to rain or lack of snow (natural Or manmade)
  10. I'm assuming it is the one from... Russia? It is terrifying
  11. Simulated radar looks a bit better. Positive snowfall still is paltry here in N ORH county (1-2") but icing looks annoying
  12. My biggest fear in skiing is the "other guy". A 200+lb missile hurtling down the slope in a possibly uncontrolled manner. I have had many near misses. I also can't believe how many people still don't wear helmets (not that they are infallible) On the plus side, I have just finished my 10+th (have lost count) year of running my school's ski club. Sometimes up to 40 kids. No serious injuries since I've been the coordinator (not that I have any control over that).
  13. Even WaWa prices are close to $100 during prime periods. It’s bad.
  14. Meh. Other sports (soccer, football, basketball) have more chances of injuries. Although yeah, a terrible ski accident happens on occasion. I’m risk adverse but feel that I am safe in the slopes as are my wife and children (now both adults). the drive to the mountain is often the most dangerous part. And for me personally, putting on and taking off my boots in the parking lot is when I tend to get injured
  15. Looking messy here tomorrow morning.
  16. A 2 hour school delay would be nice due to icing.
