  1. I missed it. I thought it was launching closer to 4:30
  2. A friend of mine was actually camping on a mountain within sight of it and saw it blow (from a huge distance). I just found this out today
  3. My son did the other day ( mostly to clear room in his closet). I tried to tell him
  4. If I get thundersnow in May I will be satisfied with this season
  5. What the heck are you eating? Today was around $260 and I bought some fancy Mickey Bars.
  6. If snow covers the lawn for a couple of days and then melts, once you see it again it has grown two days longer?
  7. Some decent squalls and graupel should come through in a bit So nasty out despite May sun
  8. Got 10 days worth of groceries for 5 (4 adults 1 teen) by 8:30. No lines. No muss. No fuss. Nice squall when I came out. The wind is strong
  9. That’s harsh. May accumulating snow here seems to happen every 15-20 years.
  10. A friend of mine who is part of Wachusett’s snowmaking crew was skinning yesterday. He said a decent number were there. 8 feet on some parts of some trails. Very skiable.
  11. My son is home on spring break and is working 3-8 today.
  12. Berkshire East was making snow last night/this morning. Great effort by them. I wish Wachusett had taken advantage of the cold nights/mornings
  13. I did the snowfields back around 1992. Pretty neat stuff Meanwhile down here in Mass, we tried Wachusett this afternoon. Three runs and we bailed. Awful ice. They could have run the guns since Thursday night (and were posting they would on social) but nope. Pure porcelain. So we headed out
  14. Local XC area near me (Windblown in New Ipswich NH) closing after this season. Very nice place with great owners. He has been running it for 50 years and wants to retire, his kids don’t want to run it.
  15. At least it has gotten cold enough for snowmaking again at Wachusett. They have kept the trail count up most of the winter.
  16. Our son is working his last shift for a little while at Wachusett. He says he has never seen it so busy before. Nice bluebird day and 5.5” new in a long weekend -= ants
  17. Nice Chris. Great day for it. A bit windy though.
  18. I’m thinking a little rain transitioning to light snow. I’m heading to Loon and am hoping to avoid some rain.
