My wife and I almost get to enjoy mini retirement each summer. Kids are either at work or camp and we get to hang out if we want to or do our own thing. Very enjoyable. When I officially retire in 12 years or so I do plan on doing something part time that is mostly mindless. Lift services at the bump midweek looks tempting. Spent part of the day at Scarborough Beach. Good waves but tons of seaweed

We have zillions of dragon flies. I had one land on my finger while in the pool yesterday. Fluorescent blue small guy. They are eating well this summer.

A friend of mine who grew up in Eastern MA but now resides in Cali was visiting her parents this week. She was so shocked by the dews. She couldn’t recall it being like this 15 years+ ago. I reminded her of 1988. Nothing new.
