Lunar eclipse later tonight

As many times as I’ve hung out in NC I have never set foot in Zebs. My wife goes in from time to time. I gotta go sometime.

I'm a bit surprised there haven't been many recent films on the subject since so many of the storylines are compelling. Turn is a good TV series based on events of the time. We re-watched The Patriot a few weeks ago. Wasn't quite as good as IO remember but still pretty decent. Quite a bit was fictionalized or cobbled together from unrelated stories. Hamilton (now on Disney+) is an interesting take on some of the people/events around then. I want to read the book that was the source material. Clearing a bit now. Back to the deck

Did you try a local shop? That’s what we did. It was the small lumberyard our son worked at last summer. Lowes sucks at times.

Great weather for building the pool deck with my son. Yesterday was pretty hot for it. Today we got the hours all in and tight. Decking tomorrow.

Did some bike riding in Winchendon for a while then went into NH for ice cream (first time in NH since skiing at Loon in January- felt weird) On the ride back deluge. Now the sun is out again.

There are several species of fuzzy caterpillars around here that cause nasty rashes or worse. I’m not sure that I have seen the browntail but similar ones. That post says they are only on Cape Cod MASS (lol) and Maine.
