  7. Nice conditions in central Mass at Wachusett. Skied there Tuesday for a bit to test out the knee, then last night which was a bit icy, and then for a couple of hours this morning. Very good set of runs before the crowds built up. Heading to Loon Jan4. Haven’t been there in 20+ years for skiing
  8. I got a nice signed copy of the James Neuhaus book of trail maps at the expo today. Really nice humble person.

  14. If anyone is interested in joining my Wachusett GPS group, let me know
  15. That 2/2/76 gale is insane. Makes Tip’s Fox Hall event seem tame
  16. Just was pondering what event have shaped my weather views. This is a pretty thread but here are 5 of mine (no particular order) Rocktober 2011 Snowstorm (22” here) April Fools Blizzard (36”) 1997 Hurricane Gloria 2008 Ice Storm 1978 Blizzard 4 feet, Hurricane winds Go!

  18. A tiny, depraved minority. A huge majority are psyched
  19. That's pretty sick that they routinely get 100+ mile vis there
  20. It was a sinister decision. He knew when that band would rotate in and rot...he timed his measurements to take advantage of this...very very unscrupulous
  21. Maybe people can put in their reports if it was a 6 hour measurment or ruler in the snow at the end measurement...
