  1. Lots of distant lightning here and I don’t even have much of a view. This could be fun
  2. Watch us get an outrageous blowtorch around Labor Day...or better yet, right after. Students stuck to their seats
  3. I doubt that I hit 90F again this year
  4. 81/67 here. A bit muggy but not bad for the dog days Most recent electric bill was quite a bit down from last year’s same time. A testament to the lower dews
  5. Our tomatoes are booming, but only a couple are ripe.
  6. KFIT 61. But it feels pretty nice here
  7. Clouds pretty much gone now. 71.0F Toooorrcchh!!!
  8. ORH pretty much normal for temps and rain +0.2F. +0.14”. Had a brief sprinkle while walking the dog. The town is also running the street sweeper on our road which is hilarious. Giant pile of rocks and rubble being left behind
  9. We pray. Pool is cold again. I need a solar cover
  10. 76/68 here. Moist but nothing compared to Bahamas/Central FL. Blizz and Dewey should go on a vacation there
  11. BDL -0.21” for the month ORH +0.26” Damaging
  12. ORH at +0.7F for August so far. Not bad. I expected it to be warmer.
  13. The two cells to my west might miss me North and south Quite humid here. Sweating bullets
  14. Think further south. Much further south
  15. Heading to a land of constant 70+ dews later today for a while. I will wipe in Blizzy’s honor
  16. I do agree with Rev Kev that August will be around a +3.0 at the 4 climo sites in SNE.
  17. My father in law used to pour kerosene in and light em up. Fooooommm!
  18. Not sure a valley is really apt. A little lower than some of the surrounding terrain but not by much.
  19. Why wouldn’t KORH radiate well I wonder, yet KFIT and I did. I assume soul type makes a big difference. All trees around my house. And some wetlands. High clay percentage. The KORH instruments are in a big field. Must have been the breeze like Steve said.
  20. Definitely an acclimation thing. In winter we have our bedrooms thermostats set to 62 at night. Been used to waking to upper 60s/lower 70s the last month or so
