  1. Black flies emerged here this weekend but so far I haven’t seen any mosquitoes. Those are coming soon
  2. Cool swipe and then we wipe?
  3. Nothing green here tree wise. My lawn still has a ways to go too. Saw some green on trees in Fitchburg. KFIT also hit 80F today
  4. Saw 80 on the car thermo in Fitchburg. 78 in Gardner. 76.4F here for a high. Warmest since...early October? I need to check Looks like Sept 25 was the last time we got this warm Nice!
  5. 2 mile walk with dog. Warm. May flies starting to arrive
  6. Yesterday was def COC. Ate dinner on the screen porch. Windows wide open. Shorts and mullets until we haircut
  7. That’s awesome. I’ve never seen one in the wild but last year my wife and daughter saw two of them in our yard next to the pool. I’ve seen just about every other critter in or near my property but never bobcats. Glad you got to see them.
  8. A couple of weeks ago one of the posters from New Hampshire (not Dendrite or Gene) posted about seeing strange satellite formations in the sky. Could it have been SpaceX Starlink?
  9. The band to my NW doesn’t want to move. Force shield in effect here. Athol and Winchendon must be floating
  10. Congratulations @Turtle Retiring from NWS!
  11. A friend of mine who is part of Wachusett’s snowmaking crew was skinning yesterday. He said a decent number were there. 8 feet on some parts of some trails. Very skiable.
  12. My son is home on spring break and is working 3-8 today.
  13. Berkshire East was making snow last night/this morning. Great effort by them. I wish Wachusett had taken advantage of the cold nights/mornings
  14. I did the snowfields back around 1992. Pretty neat stuff Meanwhile down here in Mass, we tried Wachusett this afternoon. Three runs and we bailed. Awful ice. They could have run the guns since Thursday night (and were posting they would on social) but nope. Pure porcelain. So we headed out
  15. Local XC area near me (Windblown in New Ipswich NH) closing after this season. Very nice place with great owners. He has been running it for 50 years and wants to retire, his kids don’t want to run it.
  16. At least it has gotten cold enough for snowmaking again at Wachusett. They have kept the trail count up most of the winter.
  17. Our son is working his last shift for a little while at Wachusett. He says he has never seen it so busy before. Nice bluebird day and 5.5” new in a long weekend -= ants
  18. Nice Chris. Great day for it. A bit windy though.
