  1. I forgot about signatures... I had shut them off a while back. Mine hadn't been updated since 2015! lol
  2. You have 9" in or near Hubbardston MA which is close to what I have measured (10). (2 x 0.5", 1 x 2", 1 x 7"). Not sure if those are from my numbers. Someone in Gardner (Subdude?) is at 12"
  3. I'm surrounded by middle school kids hacking sneezing coughing and whatnot. The gift that keeps on giving. I had something last week that gave me crazy vertigo... that was a new one
  4. ORH has had 1 AN day this month -8.3F MTD. Those numbers will get closer to normal over the next few days
  5. I don't think we see anything white out of Friday's event... maybe a few soggy flakes... but no accumulation
  6. And no real cold following that... sometimes they get those rapid drops
  7. H Sapiens almost didn't make it. A lot of money was riding on Neanderthal for a while...
  8. We do a unit on chemical reactions and energy. The anchoring phenomenon is how an MRE flameless heater works. We introduce them to MREs and their heaters and when you might use them. Power outages due to storms, etc. I mention that example because many were in their cars for 8-12 hours. IF they had an MRE in their car's emergency kit they could enjoy a warm meal of roasted rat while they waited it out. The unit itself focuses on Sandy and Maria but I throw in tht storm, the 2008 ice storm, and the flooding from 2023 because I'm a weenie
  9. I use that exact image from BOX in a lesson I teach
  10. He is a very good met. He used to weenie out a bit way back when, but has gotten more realistic.
  11. I know it’s a long way off, but I don’t see a grinch system next week. The one this week seems highly likely but should be rather quick. After that I don’t feel another cutter hits before Dec 25
  12. Over performer here. Expected 0.5” closing in on 2” of fluff
  13. One thing I enjoy about heading to our daughter’s school is going up through those high terrain areas I had never visited before. That Rte 2 hairpin turn is amazing as is that Rte 9 drive.
  14. Parts of Greenfield appeared to have more snow than here when I drove through there yesterday. The side up towards Shelburne Falls etc.
  15. 1” new here. Very festive. My driveway is super icy though and this doesn’t make it easier
  16. 0.5” here well away from the snow. Enjoy it southern folks!
