  1. Jerry, just updated my snow total and you and I are about tied. Your having a good season and me a meh season. Lucky I got the 24" in 12 hours back in December or I would be way behind SNE folks
  2. 25.6F Vis 1.5 miles mood flakes. About 2" of fluff. So many nickel and dime storms (other than the Dec big one). Finally back over 1 foot at the snow stake. Around 52" on the season
  3. 25.6F Vis 1.5 miles light snow. 2"ish of fluff that the leaf blower can take care off
  4. When the south has a good winter NNE usually gets shut out with arctic cold. We haven't had real cold this year however. March into the first week of April is still snow season for you.
  5. 31.4F Light to moderate snow shower here High was 32.7F. That ends my 10 day streak of below freezing temperatures
  6. 25.4F Moderate sleet with some ZR just ended. Now light snow grains. About 2" The models saw this and adjusted in the end. They overdid the freezing rain part.
  7. I have 15 acres but my several neighbors just above me have hundreds of acres. About half are fields. I look directly at Ragged and can see Sunapee too. From the top of Ragged you can see my fields if you know where to look.
  8. CAD rules 23.1 -ZRPLSG 2" of snow and sleet
  9. That's what I figured. A sleetfest. I hope the Weatherbell ZR product is way off.
  10. 23.3F Light snow. Looking at the Euro on Weatherbell. It's freezing rain product gives me .67" Does anyone think I could really get .50" of ice? If that is true I better move the cars from under the tree and grab extra gas for the genny. I really thought most all the precip would be sleet up here but that .67" is troublesome
  11. 23.3F Light snow. I'm sure I will stay below freezing for the whole storm. The question is, will I mix out enough to melt any ice accretion on the trees before back into the deep freeze tomorrow night? Today is day 9 that I have stayed below freezing and have not hit 40F yet this year. Actually have not hit 40F since Christmas
  12. This is good especially if we get freezing rain up here. Get the ice off the trees for a few hours before we go back into the deep freeze.
  13. You are right. I just went back and looked. Precip is out of Central NH by 16Z to 17Z. At that time Plymouth is 30 to 32. So all precip is frozen of some sort up here
  14. Holly Euro. Look at the difference in temps at 21Z on Tuesday. For me in Central NH Plymouth is now 11F warmer than prior run
  15. I don't do any clearing until the entire storm is over. Usually the PL/FZRA layer is on top of the snow below. If you clear snow just before the changeover you are screwed.
  16. Phin, when did they do the logging on opposite you? It looks like corn rows. I'm sure in the summer it blends in but I bet all the people on Randolph Hill were not happy when their wilderness views got a chunk taken out. You have a great full sun southern view for solar but with all the snow I don't know how well that would work out.
  17. Dave, Here is the 18Z Euro at hour 90 compared to the 12Z run
  18. 2.5" today. Brings me up to 50" on the season Lots of storms lined up with all kinds of possibilities. Now that our average temperature is rising it's time for me to pull ahead of the SNErs.
  19. Almost the same amount as me in Central NH
  20. 18.5F Light snow. Vis 1 mile 1.75". Sun dimly visible. Poor snow growth. Snow growth was good earlier.
  21. 14F Light snow vis 1 mile 1.25" new Snow growth has been good at time and cycles. Has anyone every notice that sometimes when the flakage is small big dendrites will mix back in. They become more numerous but get smaller until the whole flake population is somewhat larger. Then the whole thing cycles again.
  22. Moderate to heavy snow vis about 3/8 mile
  23. 13 Light snow. Vis up to 3 miles with dim sun. About 1/2" of fluff
