  1. J Spin, I do understand what Phin is saying. It has become quite a remarkable snow season. Below is my snowfalls for this season. I have scratched and clawed up to my 60" or so. Not one storm over 3.50" this season except for the crazy death band of the Dec storm that gave me 2 feet in about 12 hours. Don't think I have ever had a season without at least one 4" storm.
  2. 21F Moderate snow. Good snow growth 1"
  3. Yesterday we were commenting on the fact that we love NH. Best move we ever made was moving up here full time in 2001. We had to drive to Claremont NH yesterday to get our 2nd Covid Moderna shot (we feel like crap today but it is worth it) and our drive took us through small western NH towns. No graffiti, no traffic just blue sky and mountains with small towns. Weatherwise wish we had bought a bit further north into the Whites but at least from here we are only 13 miles from Rt93 so can make it south quick (although we seldom do) 850am 22 Light snow. About 1/2' in past 2 hours.
  4. Yes, it is snowing very hard. Vis is not as low as Dec 17 but flake size is bigger.
  5. Phin, your webcam has been really interesting this season. For some reason I always thought on upslope snow days the sky would be gray, like a synoptic storm. It's more like just passing clouds and dim sun but snow just keeps falling without thick clouds.
  6. 33F Partly cloudy. Occ. flurries are making it over and down to here. Snow depth at stake 11" Saturday is the Newfound Fishing Derby and Winterfest on the lake. Hopefully it will be snowing not raining. Usually cold air overperforms so hope most precip is out of here before any warmup
  7. My first 40F of 2021. Acclamation is amazing. Just doing some errands today and didn't bother with a coat.
  8. We haven't had any real cold mornings this winter. The 18Z GFS has it a bit chilly early next week. I'm sure this is way over done but something to watch as we get closer.
  9. Bobcat has been hanging out at our neighbors bird feeder the past few days... I have not 40F this year yet. Will I make it the next couple of days? Last warm weather was the Grinch storm Snowpack up to around 14 or 15"
  10. Interesting. I have stayed within the 25 to 26F range the entire event yet Concord is 34F.
  11. 25.3F Moderate snow. Snow growth has improved this past hour. 2.5" Maybe I caught up an inch or two for everyone north of me
  12. 25.3F Light snow. Vis 3/4ish. 2" Visibility has been pretty low all afternoon with temperatures holding in the mid 20's . Surprisingly only 2" to show for it. Snow growth has not been good. Small to some medium flakage but snowcover is pretty dense.
  13. 24.7F Moderate snow vis 1/2 mile. Better snow growth now
  14. 25.7F Light snow to almost moderate snow. Snow growth is pretty crappy, small flakage. Only about 3/4" so far.
  15. Looked like a few flakes right at the begining in Boston but vis has come up. That didn't last long
  16. Looks like it is starting as snow in the city of Boston https://thebostonwebcam.com/
  17. I have been holding steady 23-24F 1 mile vis. snow growth okay but not great
  18. 21.7/13 First flakes. I should do pretty well considering the temperature. Will I fall more as the snow picks up before rising again?
  19. I seem to be pretty close to the bullseye. 2-4" perhaps close to 5" with a bit better ratio at my elevation.
  20. Jerry, just updated my snow total and you and I are about tied. Your having a good season and me a meh season. Lucky I got the 24" in 12 hours back in December or I would be way behind SNE folks
  21. 25.6F Vis 1.5 miles mood flakes. About 2" of fluff. So many nickel and dime storms (other than the Dec big one). Finally back over 1 foot at the snow stake. Around 52" on the season
