  1. Boston 66F. I'm 44F with rain showers about to begin. Wonder is I can score a few flakes this evening?
  2. 2nd earliest ice out ever. I guess the first one 1945? was 2 days earlier
  3. It seems every time I look the models tick east for this weeks storm. If the trend continues NNE may be inline for another wet spring snow
  4. 37.8F and I have had a few light showers of rain mixed with snow and sleet. Ridgelines above 1500 where beautiful this morning. Our snow is half way melted
  5. 2.5" final snow amount at my elevation Moving up here from the flat lands of Greater Boston it still amazes me how just a few hundred feet make such a difference in snow amounts. At Newfound Lake level where most people live there is no snow and it was just a mix all day. Driving up a sideroad from the lake you go to bare ground to winter wonderland in less than a mile. A video from today of that.... It should say April 16 not 15
  6. The coldest air with highest rates are south of us. Stuck at 32.7/32.8
  7. 32.8F Light to moderate snow. Just seems to melt almost as fast as it falls.
  8. 39.4F Cat paws just staring to mix in. I can see the top of the ridgeline across Newfound Lake starting to fade out at the top. That is 2200 feet.
  9. 3:15pm Light rain 44.4/36 .05" rain
  10. 2pm Bridgewater NH 1100 feet Light rain and sleet 47.5/34 Light rain started an hour ago and has mixed with ice pellets
  11. 48.1/32 Light rain and sleet Rain started half an hour ago but is now mixed with ice pellets. I didn't expect any frozen this quickly. Going to start an obs thread
  12. Quick heavy shower last night woke me up and gave me .25" within 10 minutes. Boy this is a tough forecast to figure out for my hood. How much shadowing from Whites to the northeast and the temperature is so marginal at surface. I think I'm good for 5-8" at my elevation but could bust either way. Grass has really greened up and forsythia is out. Everything is 2 weeks ahead
  13. I think this Euro run has the storm the deepest since we started tracking things. 987mb 29.15"
  14. Looking at the 18Z GFS I better gas up the genny. I have been watching this for days. Wagons north. Really looking forward to 1.25" of qpf. We need the precip just not a birch bender in Mid April
  15. This is getting more interesting. I was worried we would be too far north.
  16. Hum, the end of the week is starting to look interesting for CNE. Still too far out to honk but maybe this will be a book end season? 24" on Dec 17th and a nice dump again?
  17. Forsythia opened yesterday. Even a couple of flowering trees. It's way too early and a quick look at the weather pattern and it looks active. Hopefully we can slow things down this week or else we are going to be in trouble with late season freezes
  18. Grass really greening fast here. Trees starting the bud out quickly. I hope things slow down especially for our apple trees.
  19. This event will be on the news non stop in the months leading up to the eclipse.
  20. I hope the weather 3 years from today is as nice. The astronomical event of our lifetime in NNE. Total solar eclipse. Northern VT is closest to centerline. Book your Stowe trip now!
